How it works

Connect GitHub. Install the app on the org or repos you choose. It asks for three read-only permissions.
Save your API key. It's shown once after install. Add it as a bearer token in your MCP client, or keep it for direct calls.
Run the audit. Call the check_actions_cost tool. No arguments needed, your key identifies your org.
Read the ranking, and one confirmed fix, free. Every call includes the full cost ranking and the single most-confirmed fix diff — verified against your real run history, not an estimate.

What it can and can't touch

Read-only. Actions, Contents, and Metadata: read. Contents access is what lets it read your workflow YAML to suggest fixes — it still can't change your code, secrets, or settings.
Scoped by you. It only reads the repos you select at install time, and you can uninstall from GitHub at any time.
Diffs, never pushes. It suggests pasteable YAML changes. It does not open pull requests or edit workflow files itself.
